BAKFC Welcomed Gloria Ostrowski as a speaker

Builders Association welcomed Gloria Ostrowski to our March meeting. Gloria works in Kosciusko County as well as Allen, Noble, Whitley, Huntington counties. She has been in this business for 20+ years.
Gloria brought to us great information that is helpful to her in working up a construction appraisal. Suggestions going forward that will assist in a great value and timely appraisal back to the lender.
A Few suggestions:
- Detailed specifications – the more information the better. If you know the customer is using high end materials – please provide the information
- Plans / Prints – of course, professional prints are always a plus with detailed information. When you are using drawings or sketches – please try to provide details – good measurements and elevations – front & back. Again, the more information the better
- If an appraiser has questions – it is helpful if you could be available to discuss
The most important items – the more we can work together and accomplish a good appraisal and move the project to a closing with the lender – Communication is Key!!
All of this is important in working with our customers!
