It is with great pride that we announce Larry Coplen, a distinguished member of the Builders Association of North Central Indiana, has been honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash Award. This prestigious accolade was bestowed upon Mr. Coplen at the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on March 21, 2024, by Representative Craig Snow on behalf of Governor Eric Holcomb.
The Sagamore of the Wabash is the highest honor the Governor of Indiana can bestow, reserved for individuals who have rendered distinguished service to the state or the governor. Larry Coplen’s selection for this esteemed award is a testament to his outstanding contributions to the community and the construction industry over the past 30 years.
As a member of the Builders Association of North Central Indiana, Larry has been an integral part of our community, serving in various positions within local and state building associations. His dedication and involvement in county projects have left a significant impact on the community, touching the hearts of many. Known for his encouraging personality, quality workmanship, and servant’s heart, Mr. Coplen has been a beacon of compassion and caring in Kosciusko County.
In presenting the award, Representative Craig Snow highlighted Mr. Coplen’s unwavering commitment to his profession and community. “He willingly gives his time, talent, and treasury when there is a need in the community,” said Rep.
