MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: LAKE CITY BANK CELEBRATES 150 YEARS OF COMMUNITY

Last spring, Lake City Bank launched a celebration of our 150th Anniversary. It all started on a spring day in 1872, when a group of community leaders came together and decided that Warsaw, Indiana, a town of less than 2,000 residents, needed a fourth bank. They raised capital from the community to start Lake City Bank and we’ve been serving our Indiana communities ever since. The fact that the name Lake City Bank is still on our door is a testament to the team members who preceded us at the bank and those who work here today. As a community bank, we provide individuals and businesses with banking solutions designed around their needs.

Lake City Bank is a proud 44-year member of the Builder’s Association of North Central Indiana. I have been involved with the Builder’s Association as far back as the mid-2000s. I’m a current board member and have served on the Care for Kids golf committee since I started with the association. The two golf outings raised enough money in 2022 to give 20 elementary schools here in Kosciusko and in surrounding counties $500 each to purchase coats, gloves, boots, etc. for their students who are in need of winter clothing. “I’ve really enjoyed working alongside others on the golf committee and on the board—a group of individuals who really care about the building trade industry and our surrounding communities.”
